Dr. Karen Lee, M.F.A., Ph.D.

Full Professor of English
Chair, English Department & Spanish Minor

Ph.D. in English (British and American Literature) from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Brown University. Dr. Lee’s teaching, writing, and research interests include Asian American Literature, Postcolonial Literature, Transnational Feminism, Translation Studies, Spiritual Autobiographies by Women, and Poetry, the Lyric Essay, & Fiction Writing. She joined the Vanguard University faculty in 2000.
